Effect of Mg2+ concentration in the RNA polymerase reaction on influenza virus mRNA synthesis. The RNA polymerase reaction for influenza virus was performed under regular reaction conditions in 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 mM of MgCl2. The RNA polymerase reaction mixture was incubated for 30 min at 37 °C. a Segment 1 mRNA, b segment 4 mRNA, and c segment 5 mRNA. Data are presented as mean ± standard deviation (n = 3)
