Western blotting for the detection of EBV gene expression in the livers and spleens. EBNA1 was detected in the spleens of Ts2, Ts3, Ts9 and Ts10. No EBNA1 expression was detected in the livers of any of the tree shrews. B95–8 cells and Ts11–13 were used as positive and negative controls, respectively. Ts5 and Ts6 were EBV-infection-negative.
