Comparison of SLCMV detection sensitivity between the TAS-ELISA developed in this study, a commercial TAS-ELISA, and PCR. Sap extracts from SLCMV-infected cassava were prepared by serial two-fold dilutions in sap extracts of healthy cassava and subjected to SLCMV detection by TAS-ELISA and PCR. a SLCMV detection by the newly developed TAS-ELISA (black bar) and a commercial TAS-ELISA kit (white bar). OD405 values indicate the mean values obtained from duplicate wells. The cut-off value was twice the mean OD405 of the negative control (sap extract of healthy cassava). b SLCMV detection by PCR using SLCMV-specific primers [26].
